Amador Valley Toastmasters (AVTM) is a great place to learn the basics of public speaking, or to practice and further hone your existing public speaking skills. AVTM was chartered in 1957, and has been a fixture in the Tri-Valley helping people develop communication and leadership skills. Our club reflects all levels of experience, from new members just starting out to those with a wealth of experience to share. We are diverse not only in experience, but in age, background, interests and profession. Our membership reflects a broad cross section of professions in industry, business, tech, government, medicine, education and the arts. The Toastmasters philosophy is to learn by sharing. We strive to create a nurturing environment, emphasizing camaraderie and fun, to improve our communication and leadership skills. As Ralph Smedley, the founder of Toastmasters, once said, "We learn best in moments of enjoyment."
Amador Valley Toastmasters meets in-person weekly.

When: Every Thursday morning, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Where: 777 Peters Ave., Pleasanton (Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce building)
